Two opposite modes on the option space - ideate opens it up with divergent alternatives, critique stresses what is already there with pre-mortem and red-team questioning. Never both at once; they are different cognitive acts.

One capability owning both halves of the same conversation. Mode `ideate` is divergent - it opens up the option space when the ask is still vague, generating alternatives and deliberately refusing to judge them. Mode `critique` is convergent - pre-mortem, red-team and socratic challenge against a design, ADR, story or open question that already exists. They are the only two capabilities in the family that must never run together, because interleaving generation and judgement does neither well. This is also the one capability whose generic backend is not the shared pack - it prefers a dedicated interrogation skill, because adversarial questioning is its entire job rather than a step inside a workflow.
